Yes, indeed: three decks. You might expect standard numbers like two or four, but in practice, two is often sufficient. A third 'deck' could easily be a drum machine or sampler; we always hope our customers can think 'out of the box' and invent new workflows. Generally speaking, with two or three decks and a narrower DJ mixer, your total setup is significantly smaller. This is perfect for compact booth settings and means you have less gear to lug around. A brilliant detail is the ability to use wireless headphones via SonicLink (compatible with the HDJ-F10 headphones). Total Tonal Control

For your decks, you get the control a pro DJ demands: a 4-band equaliser. It might feel different if you are used to three bands, but it is just a matter of time and practice. You get rotary knobs for the filter, and a cross-pass has now been added to those filters! The effects section is controlled via send knobs to add that perfect splash of reverb. You even get a simple equaliser on the microphone input. All in all, this is a potent high-end DJ mixer for a great price; a bit quirky, perhaps, but built with serious expertise!
