Fall Out Boy's lead vocalist and guitarist Patrick Stump already had a white signature guitar, but can now also pride himself on a black model with the same stylish grey competition stripe. The Gretsch G5135CVT-PS was modelled after the solid-body Corvette guitar from the 1960s, and as such it's perfect for grand rock riffs. Gretsch's attractive classic design boasts a few modern modifications, however, which are sure to enhance your playing experience, and make this electric solid-body guitar equally suitable for rock, metal, or even some sweet soul music. The grey competition stripe provides a nice finishing touch.

Gretsch G5135CVT-PS Patrick Stump

Gretsch equipped this Patrick Stump solid-body with a mahogany body, a bolted-on maple neck and a rosewood fretboard, resulting in a warm acoustic core sound with a nicely rounded treble punch. The electric G5135CVT guitar's Anchored Adjusto-matic bridge provides it with a solid foundation with plenty of sustain, which is further enhanced by its string-through-body construction.

Mega'Tron pickups

Endowed with three Mega'Tron pickups, this solid-body delivers the characteristic sound Gretsch guitars are known and loved for. A three-way pickup switch allows you to switch between the bridge and the neck pickup, while a 2-pickup mode switch enables you to switch the mid pickup on or off. Switch it on, and you can use the volume/blend potentiometer to adjust the humbucker's sound level. Finally, the Gretsch G5135CVT-PS has a master volume knob that determines its overall output.
