Gretsch's G5220 Jet BT is a single-cut electric guitar from the accessible Electromatic Series, built using a chambered mahogany body, a maple top, a mahogany neck and a walnut fretboard that adds warmth and a lightly rounded bite to the overall airy foundation sound.
The G5220 Electromatic Jet BT: Broad'Tron Humbuckers
Two Black Top Broad'Tron humbucker pickups are responsible for delivering the sound to your amplifier but, unlike regular humbuckers, these Baldwin-styled pickups offer more definition which makes this guitar excellent for music styles including rock, rockabilly and country. Each pickup has its own volume potentiometer and shared master volume and tone controls, while the master volume pot also has a treble bleed circuit to ensure that none of the high frequencies are lost regardless of the settings.
