The Gretsch Jet BT will give you nothing but devoted tuning stability, reliably rich and resonant tone, and eased access to every one of its frets. As with the single-cut Jet, the G5222 has a chambered body construction with a solid centre-block. These internal chambers are what create the rich resonant tone you can only expect from a Gretsch Jet, and since there are no sound-holes, there's little danger of the feedback that plagues the amplified sound of full hollow-body models, or the back-breaking weight of some solid-body models.

The G5222: Warm Solidity with Vivid Twang

This Electromatic guitar is mounted with two Broad’Tron pickups finished with the ever stylish Black-Top housing. It's this humbucker combo that delivers all that thick, solid, and authentic, double-wound, hum-free Gretsch humbucker sound. While this configuration offers plenty of depth, the nature of these pickups have a slightly single-coil-style edge that gives the sound of the Jet its distinctive twang. Everything can be tweaked using the no-fuss tone and volume controls provided, while the stable Adjusto-Matic bridge, string nut and oil-bed machine heads ensure dependable tuning.

The quality of the build is outstanding. I did have to tighten the pick up screws which were so loose that they rattled, which entailed removing the scratch plate. There is a noticeable hum when plugged in until I touch any of the metal parts, I will need to check the wiring. Overall a beautifully built guitar let down a bit by basic quality control, hence one star dropped. Definitely a keeper.

I am very happy with is guitar, it played straight out of the box with the best setup I have ever had on a new guitar. I knew it rocked but I was happily surprised to finding it will also play other styles of music to. Very good quality components to. Easily the best purchase I have made on a guitar. Extremely satisfied.
The only complaint I have is with Parcelforce. I suggest you pick another method of delivery.

Levertijd was belachelijk lang, DIT LAG NIET AAN BAX, maar wel aan DHL.
Volgens de site zou ik 'm 2 juni geleverd krijgen, dit werd 7 juni. En hij was 2 of 3 juni al bij DHL, Slecht dus. Maarrrrr ik heb wel een heerlijke gitaar waar ik erg blij mee ben.
