The Gretsch G5439T Pro Jet Silver Sparkle is an electric guitar with the original vintage Gretsch looks and a Bigsby B50 Vibrato tailpiece for either a subtle or a highly dramatic vibrato effect. The design of this affordable single-cut guitar from the Electromatic series is based on that of the 1950s Duo Jet, and the instrument features Black Top Filter'Tron mini humbucker pickups, chrome hardware, stylish hump-block inlays and a striking Silver Sparkle finish. A three-way pickup switch, two volume controls, a master tone knob and a master volume knob enable you to adjust the sound of this Pro Jet to your preferences.
Gretsch G5439T: the sound
The Gretsch Electromatic G5439T Pro Jet Silver Sparkle with Bigsby delivers a sound that matches its outstanding looks - thanks to its pleasantly lightweight, chambered basswood body, the instrument produces a tone that sounds almost acoustic. The beautifully arched top of the Pro Jet is made of maple, as is the set neck, which is fitted with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. Whether you prefer jazz or rockabilly, rock or pop, with this Gretsch G5439T you are sure to make an impression!
