With the Special Jr., Hamer offer a more compact version of the iconic 80's Sunburst model. With the Jr., you're getting a no-nonsense mahogany solid body electric guitar without any fussy body binding or arched top. The matching mahogany neck is set into the body with a highly stable dove-tail binding, ensuring an instrument with remarkable resonance and sustain. The Dog Ear P-90 pickup sits obediently at the bridge and is anything but one-sided. Controlled via the straight forward volume and tone pots, this fierce little pickup can deliver a surprising sound range. In short, if you pick up a Hamer Guitars Special Jr., you'll probably never be able put it down!
