The 24 jumbo frets have undergone the very special Prestige fret-edge treatment, and together with the 16.9-inch fretboard radius, ensure an incredibly fast feel and luxurious level of playing comfort. Meanwhile, the much-revered Gibraltar Standard II bridge has been teamed up with a set of Gotoh Magnum Lock machine heads for solid and stable tuning. The Gibraltar Standard II & DiMarzio Pickups
As well as firming up tuning, the fixed Gibraltar Standard II bridge has been specifically developed to provide optimum vibrational transfer from the strings through the body and excellent sustain, and the surface of the saddles has been flattened to support enhanced comfort when palm-muting. In terms of sound, the Ibanez RG652AHM breathes the warm and defined high-output of a DiMarzio Air Norton humbucker at the neck, and the high-output depth, mid-rich dynamics and rounded trebles of a DiMarzio Tone Zone at the bridge.
