The Slick Guitars SL52 is a stylish single cut with a pure look and raw sound. The design comes straight from Earl Slick's studio in New York and is all about pure tone and playing pleasure. The ash (swamp ash) body, Canadian maple neck and jatoba fingerboard form a solid foundation that lets every string speak for itself. Together with the carefully polished frets and the graphite nut, this results in a guitar that immediately feels familiar as soon as you pick it up.

The SL52's hardware is all about solidity and character. The wraparound bridge is completely milled from brass and gives every touch extra body and sustain. The tilt-back headstock and specially designed tuners ensure stability, keeping the guitar pristine under any playing style. Warm humbuckers

What really brings the SL52 to life are the hand-aged (relic) humbuckers. These "Old School" Alnico V elements are strongly wound for a full, expressive sound that comes out of the amp both warm and powerful. Due to cosmetic as well as magnetic ageing, they feel and sound like they have been making music for decades, with an authentic bite that you instantly recognise. Combined with the body's breathable finish, the result is a guitar sound that is open, loud and direct.
