Fazley FSG418DR Electric Guitar (Dark Red)

Incredible value and great looking SG style. Colour is a very dark red but looks ace. Delivery was really fast. Impressed with Bax so far.

Had issues with delivery,but received the guitar after around 20 days. The guitar seems good and sounds great (even coming through the tiny practice amp I bought with it), if only I knew how to play it! It is a very dark red leaning towards brown, though not the nicest colour it is still a very nice looking guitar. My daughter is very happy with it. I paid just over £90 for it in the black Friday sales. I got this one as I thought it would look nice hanging on a wall if my daughter gives up learning to play! And it will look good.

First SG style guitar I've owned and this didn't disappoint. Excellent value and really well finished. Played great straight out of the box with a good set up and no rough edges. Sounds great with loads of tone potential. Would highly recommend. Thank you Bax

Ordered this for an xmas present havnt received the extra strings I ordered and the guitar is brown not red

Recently purchased Fazley sg dark red guitar for my Christmas present. For a budget guitar I was pleasantly surprised as the guitar arrived on time, double boxed in perfect condition.
Build quality is very good at this price point,paint finish excellent, electrical components all work very well and sound the part. Neck c profile is very comfortable to play and feels good. Fret board is acceptable frets dressed well no sharp ends, could do with a polish. Right amount of relief in the neck to play without having to adjust. All new strings need stretching so expect to tune a few times before they bed in. Nut slots a little high for my playing but it's a new guitar it's designed that way as they wear down over time.
I have filed mine down to 0.30mm Tuners feel solid and smooth. String height is adjustable for personal preference. Overall a very well put together guitar that looks good sounds surprisingly awesome

Just purchased sg fazley guitar,it arrived double boxed and in perfect condition. The neck had right amount of relief, tuned the strings and stretched them. Raised the bridge a 1/4 turn and intonated the strings as they were quite a bit sharp at the 12 fret.
All together a very playable and good looking guitar for the price point that doesn't break the bank.
The electrics sound good and solid,fit and finnish acceptable for the price.
The C shape neck and string spacing is my favourite by far and a very playable guitar.
This is my second purchase from Bax and I'm very happy with the service.
The other purchase was the fazley flying V which again for the price is a very good guitar.
I'd buy another without hesitation.

durability:
i got this guitar six months ago and i wasn't sure what to expect, but when it arrived it was so well-made. it's strongly set up and it can take a lot of force. the jack input doesn't easily break or twist like even fender's guitars would. you could run into a million doorframes wearing it around your neck and it wouldn't even scratch let alone fall apart. and the strings came great, too. it doesn't easily nor quickly un-tune itself which makes it easier to just pick up and play compared to other guitars.

appearance:
the build is just perfect and the paint finish is really good, though it's not the same colour as described. it's more brownish, like dry blood, but i found that really cool. the colour didn't matter too much to me, i just wanted good playability which i got. although i really do love the vintage look of it, it's what first drew me to clicking on the product. it looks amazing in person.

sound:
the tone of this guitar matches that of a quality gibson sg and i was really surprised it didn't cost thousands more like a classic gibson would. it can cover a wide range of genres like lovey dovey stuff and thrash metal and it's even nice to play unplugged.

playability:
i could play solos on this guitar that i couldn't play on a high quality fender. i thought i was just a bad player, but this fretboard enabled me to effortlessly play however i wanted and really advanced my chances of learning better techniques. i finally understood what people were talking about when they said high quality guitars have a different feel to regular guitars.

only issue:
this is barely even a problem, it doesn't touch you or cause discomfort when you play -yet the fretboard at the very end is a little sharp because it's not curved in its design, but you could just disassemble it to sand the edges and put it back together for aesthetic comfort.

Fazley is an excellent guitar. Thank you. It is very well set-up with a low action and the intonation is perfect. Everything works and it is a beautiful guitar. It is an absolute bargain.
