General
Sennheiser's XSW-D Instrument Base Set is a wireless guitar system that couldn't be any easier to use. Simply plug the transmitter into your guitar or bass, the receiver into your amplifier and you're good to go! The system works on the 2.4 GHz frequency band which means it can be used anywhere in the world without a permit.
Features
Channel management is fully automatic, so you won't have to do a thing with this. Every XSW-D set can easily be put on mute too, from both the transmitter and the receiver. If you want to pair the transmitter with another receiver, that can be done with the simple press of a button. A fully charged set will last up to 5 hours, but if that's not enough, the transmitter and receiver can be charged while they're being used, even with a power bank. In the event of interference, the XSW-D set will automatically transfer itself to another channel. Lastly, thanks to the aptX protocol, you'll enjoy uncompromising, digital sound quality without any noticeable latency.

Betreft een online aankoop van een B-Stock product. Was een show model volgens de omschrijving.
In eerste instantie had ik problemen om geluid te krijgen. Het blijkt dat de plug van het ontvang gedeelte erg gevoelig is voor beweging. De plug zat goed in m'n pedal board maar na wat bewegen kreeg ik pas geluid. Dit blijkt dus elke keer het geval te zijn wanneer ik de set aansluit. De zender kant heeft een dergelijk probleem en werk niet met elke bass even goed heb ik gemerkt. Ik ben overgestapt naar gebruik van de kabel aan de zender kant. Dit werkt goed, maar de houder die erbij zit om de zender aan je gitaar band te bevestigen werkt echt niet. Zender valt uit de houder en de houder zit ook niet goed aan de gitaar band. Uiteindelijk opgelost met duktape. De oplaadbare batterij haalt net 4 uur, dus wat minder dan verwacht. De oplaadbare batterij is niet vervangbaar. 1 oplaadsnoer is eigenlijk te weinig, want je wilt beide (zender en ontvanger) opladen als ze leeg zijn. Verder is de geluidskwaliteit uitstekend moet ik zeggen.

Het principe van dit product is prima en gebruiksvriendelijk. De meegeleverde verloopkabel voor het geval je een verzonken aansluiting op je instrument hebt, is geen overbodige luxe en werkt prima.
Jammer genoeg stuitte ik anderhalf jaar na aankoop op het probleem dat de schakelaar van de zender soms spontaan ophield met contact maken, waardoor het signaal wegviel en het apparaat onbetrouwbaar werd. Het lichtste duwtje op de schakelaar kan het verschil maken. Omdat ik altijd heel voorzichtig ermee ben omgegaan, classificeer ik dit als een vervelende kwetsbaarheid van een verder prima product.

Heb dit product gekocht voor mobiele optredens als ik geen stopcontact wil gebruiken of optredens in kleine ruimtes waar ik mijn compacte apparatuur op batterijen gebruik.
Perfect product. Werkt meteen, makkelijk. Aan/uit en mute en meer heb je niet nodig. Klein en handzaam.
Ik had het fijn gevonden als ik er zelf een AA accu in had kunnen doen. Deze accu is ingebouwd en niet verwisselbaar. Ingebouwde accu zou 5 uur mee moeten gaan. Lijkt me voldoende

Ik had het fijn gevonden als ik er zelf een AA accu in had kunnen doen. Deze accu is ingebouwd en niet verwisselbaar. Ingebouwde accu zou 5 uur mee moeten gaan. Lijkt me voldoende
