General
Sennheiser's XSW-D Presentation Base set is a wireless system that can be used with any lavalier or headset microphone that has a mini jack connector. Simply plug the transmitter into your mic and plug the XLR receiver into a mixer. The system works on the 2.4 GHz frequency band which means it can be used anywhere in the world without a permit.
Features
Channel management is fully automatic, so you won't have to do a thing with this. Every XSW-D set can easily be put on mute too, from both the transmitter and the receiver. If you want to pair the transmitter with another receiver, that can be done with the simple press of a button. A fully charged set will last up to 5 hours, but if that's not enough, the transmitter and receiver can be charged while they're being used, even with a power bank. In the event of interference, the XSW-D set will automatically transfer itself to another channel. Lastly, thanks to the aptX protocol, you'll enjoy uncompromising, digital sound quality without any noticeable latency.

Ik besloot een tweede setje te kopen omdat na twee jaar de batterijduur van mijn eerste setje behoorlijk was achteruitgegaan. Eeen tegenvaller wel en omdat ik soms langere optredens doe, werd ik daar behoorlijk zenuwachtig van.
In combinatie met een goeie Sennheiser Headset HSP 4 EW 3 werkt het wel heel prima. Ik gebruik hem met een Bose Pro 1 boxje. Mooi geluid voor mijn stem. Ook voor grotere gezelschappen. Soms storingen door mobieltjes (kraak) en ook wel eens doordat de zaal een andere Sennheiser aan heeft staan.
Of de 75 meter gehaald wordt betwijfel ik.

Heel handig systeem. Ik heb ondertussen reeds 4 sets, ideaal om als duo versterkt en toch draadloos te spelen. Bereik is wel beperkt.

Heb dit product gekocht voor mobiele optredens als ik geen stopcontact wil gebruiken of optredens in kleine ruimtes waar ik mijn compacte apparatuur op batterijen gebruik.
Perfect product. Werkt meteen, makkelijk. Aan/uit en mute en meer heb je niet nodig. Klein en handzaam.
Ik had het fijn gevonden als ik er zelf een AA accu in had kunnen doen. Deze accu is ingebouwd en niet verwisselbaar. Ingebouwde accu zou 5 uur mee moeten gaan. Lijkt me voldoende
