Fazley FSG418BK Electric Guitar (Black)

Mine needed a little attention to a couple of frets but once sort this is an excellent instrument.
The sound, feel and playability make it a great buy. Five stars for that.

Received guitar double boxed which is impressive. I wish they had taped the inner box though as the guitar was floating about inside the big outer box. Not to worry though, as PF delivered promptly in one piece.
The guitar looks as good as the pictures and the black gloss finish is first class for an economy instrument. The headstock is particularly nice; better looking than the Harley Bentons design I think.
Playing wise it is OK although I will need some luthier tools to address a couple of frets causing buzz on a couple of notes, but otherwise the finish is perfectly OK for the money.
Pickups have plenty of output although you might wish to adjust the height for best results.
To sum up the few niggles I've mentioned might leave a 4 star impression but I'm being generous as it is a basically sound guitar for the money.
It's great for rock or other styles and has the sound to match.

Suffice to say, this is a killer guitar. No problems, perfect from out of the box, great pick ups, great style.

Purchased a Fazley FSG418BK Electric Guitar on the strength that the look of it, apart from the colour, reminded me of my first ever electric guitar, bought back in 1977, a ZENTA SG copy that I hoped would take me to the crest of the first wave of Punk that was flooding the UK at the time, then propelling me upwards to superstar status. Never happened, but that's another story. The second attraction was its price, in the region of "50" plus or minus 10% of my hard earn't "Britannic Majesties Finest English Pounds". Looking at the price now, it must have been on a special offer at the time but even at the full price it is still, a great investment.

It looks good, plays good and if I was hungry enough, I'm sure it would taste good too.

Pro's: Great value and sound, find it very playable, stays in tune reasonably well and not too heavy, wouldn't fancy the weight of a Les Paul hanging around my neck for too long although it would look good.

Cons: None apart from the fact that going back to the late seventies, the Punkettes looked Great clad in Bin Liners and ripped stockings. My bladder control was better.

In an attempt to be serious for a moment, the Fazley FSG418BK is a gem, if you like the look of it and can afford it, get it! Even if you can't strangle a note out a guitar, buy one just to look at, has great ornamental value too.
