The bolt-on roasted maple neck is a unique perk considering the price tag, since the wood has been carefully heated to remove as much moisture as possible, increasing the density and therefore limiting the chance of warping over time. As such, this bass has been built to serve as a reliable backup model for experienced bassists as well as a comfy starter model for beginners, and on top of that, this four-string bears a classic J-style body made from basswood, keeping the weight nice and low and packing the core sound with a full mid-range.
