General
Are you looking to get started on an affordable, solid-built electric J-style bass guitar, or simply want a great one to add to your collection? Then this Fazley Jellyfish 4 bass from the Sunset Series is sure to be just what you’re looking for. It even comes with a gig bag so you can easily take it with you. The high-gloss lacquered J-body of this solid-body bass is made from basswood. This not only gives the bass a pleasantly light weight, but also ensures a core tone that’s nice and full in the mid-range. Screwed onto this is a bass neck, crafted from solid maple and made even more stable than usual thanks to a roasting treatment.
Sunset Series Jellyfish 4: a smooth, modern feel & yet all those classic J-style sounds
This neck not only has a soft-touch matt finish but also features a modern C-profile, making it comfortable to hold. To make life easier for your fingers, Fazley has fitted this electric bass with 21 medium jumbo frets. For plenty of definition and sustain, this Sunset Jellyfish bass also comes fitted with a TUSQ nut. When amplified, you naturally have that familiar J-style sound palette at your disposal. With two single-coil pickups at the bridge and in the middle, you can bring out all those classic bass sounds using the two volume controls and fine-tune them with the single tone potentiometer.
