The RG655M Cobalt Blue Metallic combines the classic look of an electric guitar from the late '80s / early '90s with top-quality construction and components that the Japanese Prestige luthiers are known for. A solid 5-piece maple and walnut neck is bolted on to the lightweight basswood body. The fretboard is made of maple and has 24 rounded jumbo frets and black position markers. The reliable Edge tremolo bridge with locking nut allows you to make extreme divebombs on this Ibanez RG Prestige model while keeping everything in tune. Finally, the HSH DiMarzio pickup configuration and electronics deliver a highly versatile sound with a modern character.
