General

The RG721FM-NTF is an RG Premium solid-body guitar by Ibanez. This model really exceeds the level of the standard RG models in terms of materials, construction quality and hardware. Ibanez has kept the trusted RG body, but this version is made of lightweight American basswood. The guitar has a flamed maple top with a Natural Flat finish. The transparent lacquer and visible wood grain give this RG Premium a high-grade look with contrasting black hardware.
Ibanez RG721FM-NTF: Wizard neck
If you want to show the world your guitaring skills, you'll need a good neck. The RG721FM-NTF has a 5-piece Wizard neck, made of maple and walnut wood. The rosewood fretboard has 24 jumbo-sized frets that had a Premium fret treatment, meaning their relatively sharp edges have been rounded, providing you with more playing comfort. The fretboard also has pearloid, offset position markers.
Tight-End R and CAP-VM's
This Ibanez is fitted with a fixed Tight-End R bridge which, compared to the average tremolo bridge, makes this guitar sound much more responsive and direct. The string vibrations are perfectly picked up and transferred to the body. Furthermore, there's no need to cut a piece of wood out of the body (as is the case with a tremolo bridge), so the wood mass is not reduced. The pickups used for this guitar are two CAP-VM humbuckers, specially designed by Ibanez for the RG Premium series, and are perfectly balanced with the rest of the instrument.
