The matte black Ibanez RGIR30BFE-BKF Iron Label Black Flat is one of the latest additions to this line up. It's equipped with a fixed Gibraltar Standard II bridge for a tight, solid sound. Ibanez RGIR30BFE-BKF: rock solid
To complement the excellent metal sound produced by the wood types, the RGIR30BFE has pickups that are ideal for metal too. The EMG 60 in the neck position and the EMG 81 in the bridge position deliver plenty of output for the loudest numbers. Both pickups have a ceramic magnet, so you don't have to worry about not being heard in the overall mix. The RGIR30BFE also has a kill switch that cuts the signal, allowing you to make stutter-type effects.
