If you're looking for a 7-string guitar with a double locking bridge that's made for metal, the RGIR37BE from the Ibanez Iron Label series matches your requirements. It's equipped with two active alnico 707 humbuckers by EMG. 707 humbuckers were specially developed in 2001 by EMG to give the low B string more definition. The harmonic upper tones also have more richness even through a high gain guitar amplifier. Instead of a tone control, this guitar features a kill switch so that you can add legendary stutter effects.
RGIR37BE: effects and sound
This black Iron Label solid-body guitar has an Edge-Zero II-7 tremolo bridge that lets you add subtle vibrato effects or extreme dive bombs to your playing. The overall sound is warm and balanced thanks to the mahogany body. Bolted on to that is a fast Nitro Wizard neck made of maple and bubinga that offers stability. Finally, the rosewood fretboard ensures that the punchy trebles sound creamy. If you're a metal fan, or if you're just looking for a great guitar, the RGIR37BE could be the guitar for you.
