General
Ibanez has expanded their Iron Label series with a few great-looking guitars. Take the RGIT27FE 7-string in a tasteful Transparent Gray Flat finish, for instance. In a way, it's the older sibling of the RGIT20FE, which is the 6-string version. As such, this guitar also features a lightweight body with a neck-through Nitro Wizard 7 neck and Gotoh tuners. To achieve the right, rich sound, it's equipped with active EMG humbuckers and a sturdy fixed bridge.
Especially for seven strings
Helping you keep this metal machine in check are two matching active EMG 707 humbuckers. These are designed especially to accurately pick up everything from the low B string to the squealing highs of your solos. Furthermore, thanks to the 7-piece Nitro Wizard 7 neck, both riffs and solos are comfortable to play, and the gently-contoured heel means even the 24th fret is easy to reach. A great way to add a bit of fun to your playing is the kill switch, that allows you to add a strobe-like sound to your playing.
Built to last
Any Iron Label guitar worth its salt should be able to take a bit of a beating. That's why Ibanez used only the best materials: the through-body neck is flanked by ash wings that show off the wood grain beautifully through the Transparent Gray Flat finish. The fretboard, meanwhile, is made of ebony and has a relatively thin radius. Finally, the fixed Gibraltar Standard II bridge and Goth Magnum MG-T locking tuners will keep your guitar in tune, no matter how low you decide to go.
