The Ibanez S-series comprises a large number of guitars in various price ranges. If you want to get value for money, you should opt for this S520-WK. This solid body has a Weathered Black finish, an appealing black lacquer that already gives the guitar, when it comes fresh from the factory, that popular, worn look. This, in combination with the black headstock and hardware, gives the S520-WK a fierce appearance. The body is, like all bodies in this series, made of mahogany and has a very slim profile.
Ibanez S520-WK: Wizard III and Edge Zero II
With its Wizard III neck, the S520-WK is a smooth-playing instrument. Its fretboard is rather flat and facilitates comfortable low action. The S520-WK is equipped with the Edge Zero II, a very reliable double-locking tremolo bridge. The tough-looking, black tremolo arm can be easily operated in both directions. Thanks to the locking nut, the strings remain perfectly tuned, regardless of the intensity of your playing style. Two IFN humbucker pickups provide the necessary output and via a 3-way switch you can use them separately or combined.

De Ibanez S520 klint echt fantastisch (in alle 5 switch standen), ziet er beeldschoon en slank uit.
In eerste instantie is het tunen vrij lastig, maar eenmaal ge-locked, dan blijft de tuning stabiel, soms even wat bijdraaien aan de fine-tuners. Jammer genoeg geen gig-bag bij, maar toch een echte aanrader!
