Fazley FTL218XW Electric Guitar

Ordered in mid June 2022 and it arrived 3 or 4 days later so really speedy service considering it was coming from Netherlands and being sent to the UK while a rail strike was underway.
It was reasonably well packaged - the guitar was wrapped in plastic inside a cardboard box which in turn was inside a bigger cardboard box and padded with big air pocket plastic. The guitar box wasn't taped and had opened slightly but, the guitar was okay.
I am impressed with the overall quality of finish for the price but, there was some fret buzz on the 8th fret when holding down on the 7th. The neck was straight but, I had to adjust the action but, it was still there. Turns out the fret wasn't fully seated so I tapped it home and polished it and that sorted it out. It sounds very nice although the pickups are weak so I'll probably upgrade them. The top loaded bridge is a bit jangly but, has holes for a through body set up so it will be an easy job to drill and set it up this way. Overall I am very happy with it.

My initial plan was to sand off the finish and apply a different colour(blue probably) which would also show off the grain but, I am actually really happy with the look of it that the finish is staying as it is but, I will upgrade the pickups(probably hot rail style in the neck and a hotter bridge pickup) and tuners and as said above change it to a through body string arrangement and put on a clear pickguard so that you can see more of the wood.

I got mine end April, speedy service, no issues with the product.

For the price of a night out, a decent playing great looking guitar? Shouldnt be possible. But they did it.

I've had this guitar for a week now today is the 6/3/22. I was gobsmacked at how good this guitar is! I bought it brand new for £49 plus delivery. At that price I was expecting lots of problems but was curious about this brand. I thrilled with the whole thing. The tuners are great. The feel of the neck is awesome very small/ thin. The sound is ok. A great guitar at an unbelievable price!!! I will definitely be buying more from Bax's house brand FAZLEY. It just proves that you don't need to spend a lot to get started playing guitar. Thank you Bax Music 😎👍

I review guitars for my youtube channel, and really wanted to try a Fazley guitar. I love the finish on this product, it looks beautiful. And the price is good. The whole guitar is well made, and sounds good. My only issues are that the back got damaged in transit, as the box it was shipped in is so flimsyit is unsuitable to pack a guitar in. The truss rod is loose, and the pick gusrd looks ugly, one colour chuncky plastic. Customer service took 3 emsils and a phone call before i was told i coulfd have a £10 credit because of the damage. Ivwill try another Fazley soon, as the brand seems ok, they just need better protection when shipping.

This guitar looks great is well made and sounds even better. Even with existing strings it has quite a range to it, and I imagine with better strings it will sound and play even better still. Stays in tune well and all controls work smoothly. It is well balanced on the shoulder when a strap is fitted. At this price you'd be hard put to find something as good at twice the cost, so this one is a bargain.

This guitar was a pleasant surprise. For the price, it is far better finished than many guitars costing hundreds of pounds more. The intonation was spot-on, and the overall playability is great - this is all straight out of the box! Only thing I had to do was re-tune slightly!
