Bright, warm sound and a solid build, all for a generous price: the Fazley FUK118NT concert ukulele is a great introduction to a great little instrument. A little larger than a soprano, and a little smaller than a tenor, this concert model has that classic ukulele timbre.
The Ukulele
In Hawaiian, the word 'ukulele' literally translates as 'jumping flea'; describing the strumming technique needed to play a uke, and pretty much wrapping up the joyful sound of these little stringed instruments. The ukulele finds its root in the branguinha, a small guitar-like instrument that was first introduced to Hawaii by Portuguese immigrants from Madeira in 1879. Since its so small and easy to pick up, the ukulele as we know it today is popular worldwide and is just as welcome in concert halls as it is in living rooms.

Geen goede aankoop dit. Instrument ontstemt direct. Heb klacht ingediend bij Bax, maar geen reactie meer gehad. Ze laten je er gewoon mee zitten.

Wilde nog maar even wachten maar toch alvast gekeken naar een Ukelele. Bij deze stond op de site van Bax ook een video van dit instrument en wat klonk dt goed. Werd meteen enthousiast dus waarom wachten? Ben een beginner dus wat te zeggen....... vind de ukelele er fraai uitzien, klinkt ook goed [heb er wel eens clip-on tuner bijbesteld] dus tevreden.
Levering ook prima en snel. Nu flink oefenen en wie weet........

Een hele fijne ukelele. Klinkt fraai en makkelijk te stemmen met het stemapparaatje. Gelijk de standaard, tas en boek erbij gekocht. Heel blij mee.

Wat een fijne ukelele, en dat voor zo’n lage prijs. Ik had in een opwelling een sopraan ukelele gekocht, maar kwam erachter dat die net een slag te klein is voor mij. De maat van deze concert ukelele is precies goed en de klank is ook prima. Na bijna 40 jaar klassieke gitaar gespeeld te hebben is dit een leuke afwisseling, en voor dat doel een goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding.

Wow... Ik was eerst een klein beetje teleurgesteld... het geluid was me te schel, en je voelt dat het een goedkope ukulele is (licht gewicht, fabrieksgeur - maar die zal wel verdwijnen). Maar ik er betere snaren op gezet (Aquila Red Series met lage G) en nu klinkt hij 1000x beter! Hier kan ik wel aan wennen! Echt een aanrader, maar neem er wel meteen een setje goede snaren bij.
