The Ibanez S521-MOL is a great-looking and natural solid-body guitar. This model belongs to Ibanez's well-known S series and offers you great character and playability which is in contrast to its low price. With its Mahogany Oil finish, you can still see the wood structure of the guitar's body through the lacquer. Like most models from the S series, the body of the S521-MOL is made of mahogany which is an excellent wood type when it comes to resonance and sound characteristics. This model has a fixed bridge so that your playing can fully resonate through the entire body.
The Ibanez S521-MOL: Wizard III
When it comes to playing, this Ibanez guitar is perfect. It has a very smooth 3-part maple Wizard III neck and the 24 jumbo frets on the rosewood fretboard allow for effortless playing thanks to the pleasantly flat fretboard. This allows for low action. Two Quantum humbuckers pick up your sound and via the 5-way pickup switch you can open up a broad spectrum of foundation sounds. Of course, this guitar is equipped with tone and volume controls and its hardware has a nice Cosmo Black finish, with a black headstock.

De bouwkwaliteit is goed en het gestroomlijnde design maakt de gitaar ook niet zwaar.
Deze gitaar geeft een erg mooie, volle klank met veel sustain en met een goede versterker kan je er alle kanten mee uit. De sustain is te danken aan het mahonie hout waaruit de body is gemaakt in combinatie met de humbuckers.
Hoewel het erg druk was de eerste maal in de winkel, maakte de verkoper toch tijd voor me. Enkel bij het afhalen was de verkoper van de gitaarafdeling er niet, maar de verkoper van de dj-afdeling heeft me toch zo goed mogelijk geholpen en nog verscheidene gitaren rustig laten testen in de repetitie-ruimte.
Een dikke plus qua service en raadgeving !! En voor deze prijs vind je dit nergens anders.
