General

The Ibanez SMT3 is the 3rd-generation Sam Totman Signature. This time, the Iceman body features a tough-looking Metallic Gray Sunburst finish. Fans should be quite pleased, as it's very similar to what Totman's personal guitar looks like. The DiMarzio Evolution pickups have made way for powerful Quantum humbuckers. What's more, this particular model comes with a guitar case, so that you can keep it safe on the way to rehearsals and performances.

STM3-MGS: Built for speed

Just like his colleague Herman Li, Sam Totman is a true shredder, with both his solos and his rhythm parts showcasing blistering speed. As such, he would need a neck that offers enough stability and playing comfort. That's why Ibanez went with a maple Wizard III neck. Thanks to its rounded All Access Heel Joint, all 24 of the jumbo frets are easy to reach. Finally, with the Edge-Zero II tremolo bridge, you can go absolutely crazy adding in awesome vibrato effects.

Dragonforce: Contemporary heroes

The band Dragonforce is sometimes mockingly called 'Nintendo metal', due to the Pacman-like sounds that both guitarists like to incorporate into their tonal palette. However, this band has done more for modern guitar music than most other metal bands. With their appearance in the Guitar Hero video games, Dragonforce introduced a whole new generation to the lost art of guitar solos. Furthermore, they collaborated with Japanese band Babymetal on the song 'Road of Resistance', an anthem that has brought metal fans from all over the world together.
