The highly popular (and rightly so) Jackson Adrian Smith SDX (MN, Snow White) is an electric guitar that has got what it takes to take on some serious shredding. If you're a metal lover, you'll definitely be immediately drawn to its pitch-black Floyd Rose Special bridge which allows you to make the craziest pitch bends. Just as important is its playability - thanks to the slender, oiled Speed Neck, your hand will slide smoothly along the neck. The guitar is also fitted with large frets for easy string bends.

This San Dimas model by Jackson is one of the electric guitars that has been made in collaboration with Iron Maiden guitarist Adrian Smith. The SDX is an affordable, Indian-made version that gives you great value for money, much more than any other! This is a great choice for those looking for a reliable, versatile metal axe. This impressive instrument, with white, high-gloss lacquer, black pickguard and plain maple fretboard, has an exquisitely beautiful finish.
Three Jackson pickups
The body of the Adrian Smith SDX is equipped with three Jackson pickups: one humbucker at the bridge position and two noiseless single-coil pickups at the neck position. With the latter you can create those characteristic, clear single-coil sounds, while the humbucker takes care of a fuller, more powerful output. This results in a sound with a healthy dose of bass, clear mids and pleasant trebles. This, in combination with the stable tremolo bridge and 5-way pickup switch, allows you to play the widest range of styles, including Maiden-style metal.

De gitaar speelt erg lekker, de speed neck esdoorn hals zorgt voor bijzonder veel comfort en speelplezier. Ook de combinatie tussen de twee single coil pickups en één humbucker pickup maakt het mogelijk af te wisselen tussen een zachte warme toon en scheurende riffs wat deze gitaar enorm veelzijdig maakt.
De Floyd Rose brug, in combinatie met de locking nuts bovenaan de hals, zijn echt een waardevolle toevoeging. Zelf had ik door de Floyd Rose eerst sterk mijn twijfels of de gitaar gestemd zou blijven, echter na weken intensief gebruik is de gitaar bijna altijd perfect in tune gebleven.
Kortom, een unieke gitaar die door zijn veelzijdigheid en speelcomfort haast elke muzikant zou passen! Echt een aanrader!

Normaal ben ik geen fan van signature modellen, omdat er een grote smak geld wordt gevraagd voor alleen een naam. Bij deze gitaar is dit niet het geval.
De hals voelt geweldig, hij is lekker glad.
Door de hss pickup configuratie heb je de humbucker bij de brug, ideaal voor de lekker rock/metal tonen.
En verder heb je twee single coils, waardoor je ook die lekker tone van bijvoorbeeld Hendrix kan krijgen.
Deze gitaar heeft een Floyd Rose brug, dit is wel erg wennen, maar je kunt er hele vette dingen mee doen. Als je niet weet hoe een Floyd Rose werkt kan dit best wel eens lastig zijn.
Dus deze gitaar ziet er niet allen heel gaaf uit, hij is ook heel erg allround en voelt best wel premium aan.
