With the American Series, Jackson Guitars start the next chapter of their success story, with the Soloist SL3 being the first electric guitar to emerge from the axe-builder's Californian factory in Corona. The goal? To set the new standard for high-performance guitars with the aim of inspiring guitarists all over the world. Jackson have been serving up hard-rock and metal-focussed models since 1980 and the Soloist SL3 basically sums up everything they've learned since.

The American Series SL3: Versatile Seymour Duncan Pickups

This American Soloist model features an alder body and an HSS pickup configuration, with a powerful Seymour Duncan JB™ TB-4 humbucker at the bridge and a Custom Flat Strat® SSL-6 single-coil in both the middle and neck position to guarantee a broad range of tonal options. Also, thanks to the Floyd Rose 1500 Series double-locking tremolo bridge and the set of Gotoh MG-T locking tuners, tuning stability is certainly nothing to worry about.

Playing Comfort

The Jackson American Series SL3 boasts a neck-through-body contruction which means that the graphite-reinforced, 3-piece maple neck is fully shot through the body to ensure excellent resonance and satisfyingly long sustain. Add that to the masses of playability offered by the compound radius and the 24 jumbo frets of the ebony fretboard as well as the smaller but no less thoughtful touches like the mirrored Sharkfin position markers and Luminlay side dots, and you've got a guitar that lets you rock out like there's no tomorrow.
