The Jamstick Core MIDI Guitar by Zivix is an electric guitar equipped with MIDI functionality so you can play, record and produce with your favourite virtual instruments and synths without the need for a special set-up. Very intuitive and easy to use, this instrument features a KD humbucker and a hexaphonic MIDI element. So you can also use the Jamstick Core as a normal electric guitar. Thanks to the poplar wood, the body is lightweight and the roasted maple neck plays very comfortably. But of course, you can also use the MIDI Out via USB-C or TRS-MIDI and input sounds with the Jamstik Creator software. This is the model in the colour Midnight Black.

Wrote the following about Zivix Jamstik Core MIDI Guitar Midnight Black electric guitar

Ik heb deze gitaar twee dagen in bezit gehad, maar ben uiteindelijk voor de (duurdere) Jamstik Classic gegaan met HSS configuratie. Alhoewel deze gitaar goed afgesteld werd geleverd en ook prima speelde, vond ik het geen gitaar om mee op te treden door het te geringe gewicht (onder de slagplaat gaapt een enorm gat waar zonder moeite twee volwaardige humbuckers bijgeplaatst kunnen worden) en de body is een stuk kleiner dan een Stratocaster.De geleverde pickup klolnk prima, en op de midi-functionaliteit viel niets aan te merken. Alleen te licht en klein naar mijn smaak. De hals voelde goed aan maar was zeker geen roasted maple.

De Classic daarentegen voelt wel als een volledige strat-style gitaar minus de vibrato-arm en heeft een echte roasted maple neck. Deze is als echte gitaar te gebruiken.

Gaat het je alleen om de Midi: prima koop! Wil je een hybrid tusen midi- en echte gitaar: spaar even door voor de Jamstik Classic.
