If you're looking for an affordable LP-style guitar to play rock and metal on, then Jackson's JS22 SC Monarkh fits the bill. This model from the JS series features a single cutaway and is great for beginners or advanced players on a tight budget. It has a black satin gloss finish with white bindings on the neck and black hardware to complete the stylish look. A tune-o-matic style tailpiece, a compensated bridge, and an amaranth fretboard with a compound radius are other notable features.
JS22 SC Monarkh
The compound fretboard radius is 12" to 16" in width, which makes it easier to play chords lower down on the neck and solos higher up. The maple neck is bolted on to a body made of poplar. The combination of wood types used give the Monarkh a well-balanced tone, which is then picked up by the high-output humbuckers. De gitaar klinkt goed en voelt comfortabel aan om te spelen. Ik raad wel aan om een zwaardere set snaren te gebruiken dan de standaard 9's. Door de insnijdingen en de bevels voelt dit veel beter aan dan vergelijkende modellen van de andere merken die ik heb geprobeerd. Door de satin finish voelt deze ook nooit "plakkerig" aan zoals sommige gloss finishes.
Als je wilt beginnen met elektrische gitaar raad ik deze zeker aan!
