General
Many guitarists want to own a unique instrument, one that no-one else has. As a beginner, however, that can be quite difficult, as these special models are often quite expensive. Well, Jackson changes that with the limited edition JS32Q DKA-MQ! The first thing you'll notice about this guitar, is that it's triple A quilted maple top gives it a highly classy look. Two Jackson humbuckers give it quite a bit of output, meaning it's a great guitar for heavier kinds of music, while the tone controls and pickup switch ensure it's still versatile enough to tackle other genres as well. In short, this special Jackson JS32 Dinky is an electric guitar that stands out from the crowd.
JS32 DKA-MQ: solid construction
The Jackson JS32 DKA-M features a solid body made of poplar. This wood-type is much like alder, allowing for a balanced tone that's well suited to rock and metal. DKA stands for Dinky Arch Top, referring to the arched top on the body, which doesn't just look great, but allows for enhanced playing comfort as well. Another stand-out feature is the maple fretboard - contrasting nicely with the black body and headstock - with its recognisable sharkfin position markers. A durable Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo bridge ensures this guitar stays in tune, even if you want to indulge yourself with some wild dive bombs.
Compound-radius fretboard
The JS32 DKA-MQ's fretboard has a compound radius, just like the more expensive Jacksons do. Near the headstock, the fretboard is quite concave (12-inch radius), but when you near the body, it flattens out a bit (16-inch radius) The result is that both barre chords and open chords are comfortable to play. Higher up, you can effortlessly bend the strings, even with low action, without annoying rattle or notes that are cut short, and the flat radius is also ideal for techniques where you tap the strings.
