General
No matter how dark it is on stage, with a few nice lamps you can perfectly show off this Jackson KEXMG Kelly White with Black Bevels. In the dark, the white colour of the body really stands out. And why not? When you play rough music styles such as metal and hard rock and you own a Jackson, you are allowed to show off. This brand is very well known for its shredding qualities. Not only because of the sound but also because of the looks. The sharp design, the shark fin inlays, it's quite clear that this isn't the Do-Re-Mi guitar from the Sound of Music.
The sound of the Jackson Guitars KEXMG Kelly White with Black Bevels
Traditionally, Jackson uses basswood for the body as this wood type emphasises low and mid tones perfectly. This results in a guitar that cuts through the mix perfectly, making it an ideal guitar for shredding in true Jackson style. The maple neck provides sparkly, clear trebles, complemented by a long sustain. Many guitars are fitted with a rosewood fretboard because of its warm, rich sound and the way it makes your fingers run smoothly along the entire length of the neck. It goes without saying that this Jackson has a rosewood fretboard as well.
Tremolo and pickups
In typical Jackson genres, a good expressive lead is the most important thing. From wild pitch bends to intense vibratos, Jackson guitarists really need to be able to go crazy with their tremolo. Thanks to the Floyd Rose tremolo bridge, they can. They can go as wild as they want and when the tremolo is in its original position again, everything is back to normal, sounding tight. A special clamp in the string nut makes sure that your strings remain in tune for weeks and months to come. This is very convenient during gigs on stage, which is the last place where you could use a false note. This guitar is equipped with EMG humbuckers at the bridge and at the neck which can be used in bridge, bridge-neck and neck configuration.
