General

Guitarists looking for a high-quality seven-string guitar, do not have a broad range of options. Moreover, this kind of guitar is often only available with a (matte) black finish. Jackson shakes up the game by releasing the high-end HT7 Juggernaut with a beautiful, unique Laguna Burst finish. This Jackson is the signature model by Periphery guitarist Misha Mansoor. Together with Jackson Guitars, he completely redesigned the Dinky in order to get to a premium instrument. The lightweight basswood body features extra deep cutaways, for perfect access of the entire fretboard. All in all, this Jackson is a true eye-catcher with luxurious looks.

Top quality

Bare Knuckle and Hipshot are important names in the world of guitars, known for their reliable products. Their components turn this Jackson HT7 into a highly stable guitar with an extremely fat sound. The Bare Knuckle humbuckers have been developed by Mansoor himself, to match the basswood body of the guitar. As a result, this guitar can easily take on the heaviest riffs, yet produces enough mids to cut through the mix. Additionally, the Hipshot locking tuners and the fixed bridge ensure tuning stability and great resonance. Mansoor also thought about your playing comfort - this Jackson features a flat ebony fretboard, and a longer 26.5-inch scale length, which makes sure that the strings remain tight, also with lower tunings.

Misha Mansoor

As the founder of progressive metal band Periphery, Misha Mansoor is often considered a pioneer of Djent music. His style is characterised by high gain and heavy palm-muted chords, in combination with complex polyrhythmics and virtuoso solos. Mansoor also works as a producer and songwriter - he co-write the debut album of another Djent sensation, Animals As Leaders. He produces all of Periphery’s material. 2015 marks the ten-year anniversary of the band, looking back on some of the most innovative metal albums of the decade.
