In the early 1990s, imported Jackson guitars were made exclusively in Japan. The attention to detail and craftsmanship is Japan has always been very high. The finest materials have been incorporated into this guitar, starting with the body; a mahogany wood body with a beautiful poplar burl top through which a 5-piece maple/walnut neck runs. This gives a nice sustain and the neck-body joint is very strong as a result. Shredders will delight in the fact that you can reach the high frets very well and comfortably without being hindered. The neck is reinforced with graphite to cope with temperature differences and moisture as much as possible, preventing neck warping. Rolled frets, of which there are 24 on the ebony fingerboard, feel smooth and once again testify to craftsmanship of the highest kind.

Compound radius for a comfortable playing experience

The compound radius has been established on Jackson instruments for many years now. It is a gradual progression of the fretboard where the lower positions on the neck are more convex than the higher positions on the fretboard. This gives a comfortable feel when playing chords, but the same applies when soloing. Because the frets gradually flatten as you navigate higher on the neck, this allows strings to push up more easily and allows you to play faster. The radius is 12 inches lower on the fingerboard and 16 inches higher on the fretboard. On the side of the neck, you will further find Luminlay glow-in-the-dark dots that will assist you in navigating the fretboard on a dimly lit stage. To make a quick truss rod adjustment, use the 'spoke wheel' located in the heel of the neck. This allows you to make quick and easy adjustments when desired.

The now long-proven and time-tested combo of a Seymour Duncan Super Distortion in the bridge position and a Jazz humbucker pickup in the neck position, can also be found in the Dinky DKRP. The high output pickups provide enough clarity, definition and sustain that a metal guitarist deserves. The Super Distortion will give your amp a big boost that will soon take it into overdrive territory. Full of mids, it also makes sure you cut well through the mix. The PAF Pro keeps everything in balance with its presence and tight, low frequencies. The 5-way Blade switch assists you when switching between pickup tones and lets you explore your sound further.og a 'premium' feature is the Gotoh GE1996T double locking tremolo bridge. Even when pulling off the most insane antics, this bridge stays in tune. Finally, Dunlop strap-lock buttons are fitted so you no longer have to worry about your instrument suddenly landing on the ground during a gig.
