General
Along with the Rhoads and the Kelly, Jackson's King V is one of most recognisable shapes this American guitar manufacturer makes. With its two sharp-lined symmetrical body wings, its Quicksilver finish and black chrome hardware, the Pro King V KV is a high-quality metal guitar that really stands out. A compound radius and 24 frets on an ebony fretboard offer superior playing comfort. Thanks to its neck-through construction, it has excellent sustain and all of the frets are easily accessible too.
Pro King V KV Quicksilver: high-quality components
Jackson has gone for something slightly different from the norm when it comes to the Pro King V's pickups. Instead of the usual JB/Jazz set, Jackson has chosen two passive Seymour Duncan Distortion pickups for this model. These powerful pickups have a strong mid-range and deliver a cool crunch for face-melting solos. The Floyd Rose 1000 series tremolo bridge guarantees excellent tuning stability and allows you to add subtle or extreme vibrato effects to your playing.
Pro Series: top-quality instruments.
Jackson Guitars originated in 1980, when talented young guitarist Randy Rhoads approached Wayne Charvel - then the owner of Charvel's Guitar Repair shop - with an idea for an innovative V model. In collaboration with Tim Wilson and Mike Shannon, the Concorde was created. This guitar was so different from the other instruments Charvel was issuing at the time, that guitar builder Grover Jackson decided to introduce them under his own name. Thanks to their stylish designs, fast necks and powerful sound, Jackson guitars are perfect for hard rock and metal. The Pro Series follows many of the specifications of the top models from Jackson's USA series but at a more affordable price.

During the NAMM show in Anaheim, California, it's not uncommon for guitar manufacturers to introduce new models and finishes. This year, Jackson has released an entire new series under the name Monarkh. The Monarkh guitars were inspired by the famous Les Paul, but offer true shredders and metal heads even more options. Tradition meets modern standards!
