General

Guitar manufacturer Jackson has been making awesome metal machines for years for both right and left-handed guitarists. The latter will be particularly pleased with some models in Jackson's X Series, like this SLX LH Soloist in Satin Black. It has a classic thin-body design and a neck that's built for speed with a sharp headstock. The Floyd Rose Special bridge with Double Locking Nut, Duncan Designed humbuckers and a sleek black finish are ingredients that make up a great guitar that won't break the bank.

SLX LH Soloist Satin Black: hot off the press

The SLX LH Soloist is particularly suited to guitarists who like a lot of gain and a high output. In fact, that's what the pickups on this guitar were designed for. There's an HB-102B at the bridge position and an HB-102N at the neck, both carrying the name Duncan Designed. These pickups, forged by the mighty Seymour Duncan, boast a wide tonal spectrum. The controls are simple: a three-way switch and a master tone and volume knob. But let's be honest; with a Floyd Rose Special tremolo bridge, you don't really need much more.

Comfort from bottom to top

In order to facilitate your super-fast playing, Jackson equipped this model with a comfortable neck with compound radius. Its rounded profile allows you to grab chords and play riffs even easier, and as you move upwards, you'll see that the neck with rosewood fretboard becomes flatter to make playing melody lines or shredding solos virtually effortless. The connection to the basswood body is shaped in such a way that it allows even easier access to the highest of the 24 frets . Just plug it in and play!
