General
The SL7 Soloist is a surprisingly affordable, top-quality 7-string electric guitar from Jackson's Pro Series. It has a neck-through construction and features a mahogany body and a maple neck. Each of the 24 jumbo frets are easily accessible. The Floyd Rose tremolo bridge allows you to add vibrato effects to your heart's content whilst ensuring excellent tuning stability. Two powerful Seymour Duncan SH-6 7 Distortion humbucker pickups deliver a bright sound that makes the Jackson SL7 ideal for rock and metal.
Soloist SL7: optimal playing comfort
This model has a scale length of 25.5 inches that makes it easier to push down the strings and offers a high degree of playability. The compound fretboard radius plays a role in this too. Towards the headstock, the radius is more rounded, so that chords are easier to play, and higher up the neck it flattens out for easier solos. The fretboard is made of ebony, giving it a fast feel and quick response. Both the body and the neck have a Satin Black finish for a great look and touch.
Jackson Guitars: innovative designs
The renowned American brand, Jackson Guitars, was founded in 1980 by Grover Jackson, and rose to fame with its customised V-guitar for Randy Rhoads. Today, many famous guitarists play a Jackson. Jackson guitars have an elegant design, a sharp headstock, shark fin position markers, and a powerful sound that’s perfect for metal and hard rock. The X series offers affordable versions of the most popular Jackson guitar models.
