General

Jackson Guitars and Marty Friedman have reunited! Back in the nineties, the legendary guitarist played on a Jackson KE1, and now he's developed the signature X Series Marty Friedman MF-1. The single-cut guitar has a mahogany neck and body with a thick maple top, which results in a deep, rich tone. Two EMG MF Signature pickups ensure the necessary amount of mayhem and allow the sound of this guitar to cut right through any mix. It offers a high level of playability thanks to the short 24.75-inch scale length, which means the string tension is lower, which in turn makes the strings easier to press down.

Marty Friedman: global guitar hero

Marty Friedman is one of the most influential and respected guitarists in the world. From his melodious collaboration with Jason Becker in Cacophony or his legendary period in Megadeth, his unique style has inspired countless musicians of all ages. This Jackson MF-1 is an affordable way to get as close to Friendman's sound as possible. Even if you're not necessarily a fan of this metal god, you'll surely appreciate all this truly remarkable guitar has to offer!
