Roland and Fender have combined their forces to create an extremely versatile electric guitar that is ready for the future. The GC-1 is a 100% authentic Fender Stratocaster with a built-in Roland GK-3 system and a hexaphonic MIDI pickup. It gives you direct access to the many diverse possibilities offered by Roland's GK products, such as the GR-55 guitar synthesizer and the VG-99 V-Guitar system. Imagine playing both electric and acoustic, or even bass and piano, all with one single guitar! With the Roland GC-1 GK Ready Stratocaster you can!

Roland GC-1: a genuine Fender Strat

The GC-1 is a genuine Fender Stratocaster to the bone. It is fitted with the traditional double cut-away body made of solid alder and a neat black lacquer finish. The neck of this specific model is made of a single piece of maple and is fitted with 22 medium jumbo frets, while the head is equipped with top-quality American tuners. This electric guitar features a vintage-style tremolo bridge and three amazing-sounding single-coil pickups. The regular two tone knobs have been replace by one master tone controller. A volume knob is also present, as well as a five-way pickup switch. In short, the GC-1 is a fully functional Fender Strat, featuring the authentic sound and feel.

Roland GK-3 system

The Roland GC-1 GK Ready Stratocaster has a complete, nearly invisibly built-in GK-3 system. Between the bridge and the bridge pickup, you'll find Roland's Hex-Divided pickup. The standard GK controls are located next to the passive volume and tone knobs of the guitar. They consist of a selection switch, Up and Down buttons and a volume knob, which is located where you would normally find the second tone knob of the Strat. The 13-pin connector is located on the side of the body and can be used at the same time as the ¼-inch jack output.

The Roland GC-1 GK Ready Stratocaster is not just any old guitar, but offers numerous possibilities. Use it in combination with a 13-pin compatible guitar synthesizer and the wide range of sounds that no other guitar can offer you will blow you away.
