General

The Schecter C-8 Deluxe is an 8-string electric guitar that offers an exceptionally wide range for modern playing styles. The body is made from basswood and is combined with a bolt-on maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard. With a scale length of 28 inches (711 mm), this guitar is designed for the lower tuning typical of an eight-string instrument. The Thin C neck profile ensures a comfortable grip, whilst the 24 Narrow X-Jumbo frets provide ample space for both riffs and melodic passages. The Satin Black finish and chrome hardware give the guitar a sleek, modern look.

Powerful Diamond Plus humbuckers

The C-8 Deluxe is fitted with two Schecter Diamond Plus humbuckers. In both the bridge and neck positions, these passive pickups deliver a powerful and full-bodied tone, making the guitar ideally suited to heavy riffs and modern metal. The Tune-O-Matic bridge with String Thru Body ensures a solid construction and direct string transmission. The Schecter tuning machines help maintain stable tuning. This makes the C-8 Deluxe a practical choice for guitarists who want to combine the extended range of eight strings with a solid, defined sound.

Eight strings, extended range

With a 28-inch scale length and a 54 mm wide nut, the C-8 Deluxe is specifically tailored to the wider neck required for eight strings. The guitar comes fitted with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 8 #2629 strings (.010–.074), making it immediately suitable for the typical low-end range of an 8-string guitar. A matching Schecter SCSGR-1C case is not included but is available separately. This makes the C-8 Deluxe an interesting choice for guitarists looking for an affordable and purpose-built 8-string guitar for modern, heavy music.
