General

The Schecter C-8 Deluxe is a versatile 8-string electric guitar for guitarists who require an extended range and a powerful, well-defined tone. The basswood body is combined with a bolt-on maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard. With a scale length of 28 inches (711 mm), this guitar offers extra string tension and a tight response, which is particularly beneficial when playing in lower tunings. The Satin White finish also gives the instrument a modern look. The Thin C-shaped neck sits comfortably in the hand, whilst the 24 Narrow X-Jumbo frets provide ample space for both rhythmic and melodic playing.

Powerful humbuckers

In terms of tone, the C-8 Deluxe is fitted with two Schecter Diamond Plus humbuckers: one in the neck position and one at the bridge. These passive pickups are designed to fully showcase the broad frequency response of an 8-string guitar. With the volume control, tone control and 3-way switch, you can easily switch between the different pickup combinations. This makes the guitar suitable for powerful riffs, tight chords and melodic passages. The 54 mm-wide nut provides ample space for the eight strings, whilst the 16-inch fingerboard radius ensures a flat playing surface that suits modern playing styles well.

Tune-O-Matic and String Thru Body

The bridge consists of a Tune-O-Matic system with String Thru Body, whereby the strings are routed through the body. This ensures a direct string response and contributes to a stable playing experience. The Schecter tuners help to maintain tuning reliability, whilst the chrome hardware complements the Satin White finish. The C-8 Deluxe is a right-handed model and is supplied as a complete electric guitar; a case is not included. The Schecter SCSGR-1C case, available separately, is suitable for this guitar. The model has item number 441 and is manufactured in Indonesia.
