General

This eight-string monster is Youtuber Rob Scallon's signature model. This unique instrument features a neck-through design for enhanced stability and a multi-scale configuration for natural playability, with the scale length shifting from 27 inches on the bass-string side to 25.5 inches down by the treble strings. The body has been hewn from swamp ash to keep the weight down and the resonance and aesthetics way up, while the mahogany neck comes topped with a 20"-radiussed ebony fretboard lined with 24 jumbo frets. So this 3-piece neck remains stable at all times, Schecter have specially reinforced it with carbon fibre.

The C-8 Rob Scallon: Split-Coil Pickups and Hipshot Hardtail Bridge

Armed with two Schecter Diamond '78 Rob Scallon pickups for a PAF-style sound with a modern twist, as well as push/pull volume and tone pots, the C-8 offers ample sonic flexibility without ever sounding sterile or slushy. The tuning stability practically couldn't be better thanks to the Hipshot Grip-Lock tuners and the Graph Tech XL nut and, since this signature model dons a tasty Dark Roast satin-gloss finish, you can rest assured that it'll not only prick up ears but turn heads.
