General

The Schecter Damien Platinum-8 LH is designed for left-handed guitarists looking for a powerful 8-string electric guitar. The Satin Black finish, Satin Chrome hardware and distinctive bat inlays give the instrument a striking appearance. The body is crafted from mahogany and is combined with a maple neck featuring a glued construction and Ultra Access. The rosewood fingerboard, Thin C neck profile and 24 X-Jumbo frets provide a comfortable foundation for a wide range of playing styles, from heavy riffs to technical playing.

Active EMG 808 pickups

For a powerful and defined tone, the Damien Platinum-8 LH features two active EMG 808 humbuckers. Both the bridge and neck positions are fitted with an EMG 808 pickup. Combined with the 28-inch (711 mm) scale length, this configuration is ideally suited to low tunings and modern, heavy music styles. The 54 mm wide nut provides ample space for the eight strings, whilst the Thin C neck profile ensures a comfortable grip during fast passages and complex chords.

Reliable hardware

The Schecter Custom Hardtail bridge with String Thru Body ensures stable string routing and direct string transmission. The Grover tuners ensure reliable tuning stability, whilst the Satin Chrome hardware contrasts beautifully with the black finish. The guitar comes fitted with Ernie Ball 8-String Skinny Top Heavy Bottom #2624 strings, with gauges ranging from .009 to .080. A matching SCSGR-UNIV1 case is not included and is available separately. Thanks to its left-handed design, this Damien Platinum-8 is specifically tailored to left-handed players.

Bax Music Warranty This product comes with a 3-year warranty.
