More and more guitarists are discovering the advantages of a multiscale electric guitar. Therefore, with this Reaper-7 MS, Schecter offers a modern 7-string guitar with a tapering scale from 25.5 inches to 27 inches. This makes the low strings feel nice and tight and the high strings easy to press down. Thanks to the ash (swamp ash) body, even the low B string retains sufficient definition and clarity, so that every note is well expressed. Add to this two Schecter Decimator humbuckers and you have a powerful sound that will please many a djentleman.

Reaper-7 Multiscale: quality parts

To ensure stable firmness and accurate intonation, Schecter has fitted this Reaper-7 MS with a high-quality fixed Hipshot bridge. In addition, a 5-piece maple/walnut neck with an ultra-thin C-profile has been chosen. Thanks to the glued (set-neck) construction with ultra access, you can reach all 24 narrow extra jumbo frets with ease. Speaking of ultra, the ebony fingerboard is also extra flat with a 20-inch radius. There is even a push/pull potentiometer built in for a wide arsenal of possible tones.
