General

The Schecter Demon-7 is a 7-string electric guitar for guitarists seeking a powerful look and a robust sound. The basswood body is finished in Aged Black Satin and features aged cream single-layer binding, black chrome hardware and striking grey mother-of-pearl Gothic Cross inlays. Thanks to its 26.5-inch scale length, this guitar offers slightly more string tension than a standard electric guitar, which complements the lower tuning and the extra seventh string. The bolt-on maple neck has a comfortable Thin C profile and is paired with a wenge fingerboard featuring 24 X-Jumbo frets.

Active Schecter pickups

The sound is provided by two Schecter Diamond Active HB-105S humbuckers, positioned in both the bridge and neck positions. These active pickups deliver a powerful, direct output that really comes into its own with heavy music styles such as metal and hard rock. You can also easily adjust the tone using the volume and tone controls and the 3-way switch. The bridge is a Schecter Custom Hardtail with a string-through-body construction, meaning the strings pass through the body. Combined with the fixed bridge, this ensures a stable foundation and direct string response. The guitar is fitted with Schecter tuners and is strung with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 7 #2621 (.010-.056).

Comfort and finish

The Demon-7 features a bolt-on neck construction and a 16-inch fingerboard radius, making the fingerboard relatively flat and well-suited to fast playing techniques. The nut is a 48 mm wide Graph Tech XL Black Tusq and the neck has a two-way adjustable truss rod. A 9V battery compartment is provided for the active electronics. The guitar is supplied as a complete instrument and is suitable for right-handed players. A matching SCSGR-1C case is not included and is available separately. The combination of the dark finish, Black Chrome hardware and Gothic Cross details gives the Demon-7 a distinctive Schecter look.
