General

The Schecter Hellraiser C-8 FR Black Cherry is an 8-string electric guitar designed for guitarists who want to combine a wide tonal range with modern performance. The mahogany body features a striking Quilted Maple top and is finished in a deep Black Cherry colour. Thanks to the long scale length of 28 inches (711 mm), even the low strings remain tight and well-defined. The guitar has a set mahogany neck with Ultra Access, allowing you to comfortably reach the higher positions on the fretboard. With 24 X-Jumbo frets and a Thin C neck profile, this Hellraiser offers plenty of playing space.

Active EMG 808 pickups for powerful sounds

The Hellraiser C-8 FR is fitted with two active EMG 808 humbuckers. In both the bridge and neck positions, these pickups deliver a powerful output signal and a clear reproduction of the full frequency range. This is particularly advantageous when playing in low tunings and with heavy amplification. The pickups are also split-capable, giving you additional tonal possibilities. The controls consist of two volume controls, a tone control and a 3-way switch. Combined with its eight strings, this Schecter is particularly well-suited to metal and other modern music styles where a tight, powerful and defined sound is required.

Floyd Rose tremolo and reliable hardware

A key difference from the fixed-bridge version of the Hellraiser C-8 is the Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo. This double-locking tremolo enables expressive vibrato effects whilst offering excellent tuning stability. The Floyd Rose saddle works in conjunction with the Grover tuning machines. The 3-piece mahogany neck features carbon fibre reinforcement rods and has a rosewood fingerboard with a 16-inch radius. The guitar comes strung as standard with an Ernie Ball 8-String Skinny Top Heavy Bottom #2624 set. The separately available Schecter SGR-1C hardshell case is suitable for transport.
