Since its introduction in 1964, Fender's Mustang has achieved a cult status in alternative styles of music. Squier's Classic Vibe 60s Mustang is an attractively-priced version of this iconic model. It has a compact offset body and a 24-inch scale length that makes it easier to play. It's comfortable too thanks to the neck's C profile, the slightly rounded 9.5-inch fretboard radius and the narrow, tall frets.

This Mustang also looks the part with a high-gloss polyurethane finish on the body and a vintage tint on the neck. It has an authentic '60s sound as well that's delivered to your amp by two Fender Designed Alnico single-coil pickups. They're attached to the body at an angle to give the thicker strings a fuller sound and the thinner strings more punch. There's also an on/off switch and a phase switch to go along with the volume and tone controls for bona fide Mustang sounds. You can even add vibrato effects thanks to the floating bridge and dynamic vibrato tailpiece.
