General

Is it a guitar or a bass guitar? Well, it's the Squier Classic Vibe Bass VI. It's actually somewhere in between both instruments because although it's tuned the same way as a guitar, it's at an octave lower. This attractively-priced model is based on Fender's original that was produced between 1961 and 1975. Authentic design details include the vintage tint on the back of the neck, the nickel-plated hardware and the logos on the headstock.

Classic Vibe Bass VI: a musical adventure

With a scale length of 30 inches, a C profile neck, a 9.5-inch fretboard radius and narrow, tall frets, the Bass VI is comfortable to play for both guitarists and bassists. Thanks to a slide switch for each of the three Fender Designed Alnico single-coil pickups, another one for the bass cut, and volume and tone controls, the Bass VI gives you a wide variety of tones to play with. With so many options to choose from, Squier's Bass VI is a model that'll take you on a musical adventure.

Squier Classic Vibe Bass VI Black

I don’t know if this was Bax’s quality control or not, but I bought this guitar before and it came with so many quality control issues (broken and badly cut nut, many deep scratches on the black finish, scratches on the hardware, electronic weirdness) that I eventually sold it. However it is very unique and I very much missed it, and so bought it again, already expecting the same quality, but the one I got from Bax is absolutely faultless—on par with a Japanese or American made instrument. Well cut nut, perfect finish, lush sound and no glitching. I’m in love! In short, don’t just expect an Indonesian built instrument to suck: shop around until you get a retailer that honours your hard earned money. Highly recommended for The Cure cleans or distorted baritone madness.

Squier Classic Vibe Bass VI Black

Squier Classic Vibe Bass VI Black
