Stunning sixties-style details such as the gold-coloured anodised scratchplate, the tinted lacquer finish of the maple neck and the old-school Squier logo are really just the tip of the iceberg here.
An Authentic Jazzmaster
In addition to looks, the tone this electric guitar shapes is 100% Jazzmaster - a feature it owes to two Fender-Designed Alnico single-coil pickups that have been wired up to a lead and a rhythm circuit to give players the ways and means needed to whip up a wide range of sounds. Thanks to the C-profile of the neck and the fan-favourite 25.5" scale length, the Late '50s Jazzmaster feels familiar from the get-go and it even comes finished with a non-floating vibrato tailpiece.

De afwerking is echt schitterend en alle knoppen van de separate circuits werken helemaal naar behoren.
De c hals ligt prettig in de hand en het fretboard van laurier geeft een mooi donker accent.
De P90 elementen by Fender zijn geweldig en toen ik de Squier bespeelde werd ik een beetje stil. Het ritme gedeelte en het solo gedeelte geven echt het oude Jazzmaster geluid weer. Deze serie van Squier is echt de moeite waard als je niet het geld wilt of kan uitgeven aan een veel duurder exemplaar. Ik ben er in ieder geval heel blij mee.
