Considered the grandaddy of the Telecaster, the OG Fender Esquire first saw the light of day in 1950, when it was the first ever Fender-designed solid-body offering. What's unique about the Esquire is the single humbucker planted at the bridge, a feature that gives this tight model a no-nonsense vibe as well as full and powerful amplified sound.

The Squier Sonic Esquire H: Extreme Comfort

The solid poplar body is not only extra-thin but extra-lightweight, easing the strain on your shoulders and enhancing comfort when wearing a strap, and since the neck of any guitar dictates the comfort and playability, Squier have given the Esquire a maple neck with a C-profile and satin-gloss coated backside, which has an immediately snug and fast feel in your fret hand. Très agréablement surpris !
Cette guitare est une entrée de gamme destinée aux débutants et pourtant, il n'y a rien à redire. J'ai voulu la tester en pensant que tout devrait être modifié et c'est une excellent cote que je lui donnerais. Le manche est très agréable et son aspect non vernis permet d'y virevolter facilement. Les mécaniques tiennent très bien l'accordage et les finitions sont de bonne qualité. Le micro double bobinage fait son travail aussi même si pourrait lui en demander un peu plus pour les plus exigeants. Cependant, cette guitare fera partie de mes prochaines scènes.
