Itching to get your hands on an affordable yet sonically wide-ranging electric guitar? If so, the Squier Sonic Stratocaster HSS is an outstanding option. Here, 'HSS' refers to the pickup configuration, which plants a humbucker in the bridge position plus one single-coil in the middle and another at the neck. This load-out allows this Squier Strat to spit anything from beefed-up rock sounds and warm leads to sparkling cleans. What's particularly interesting for beginners is that poplar body, which is a tad slimmer and lighter than a standard Fender Stratocaster.
The Sonic Stratocaster HSS: Up-to-Snuff Playability
As always, Squier have made sure the Sonic Stratocaster HSS has a nice and comfortable playing feel. The maple neck has a satin-gloss finish which combines with a snug C-profile and a traditional 9.5-inch fretboard radius, while another welcome bonus comes in the form of a vintage-style tremolo bridge which fully supports vibrato effects. Despite its keen price, this entry-level axe also boasts flat saddles which make a comfortable spot to rest your right hand.

Deze Squier kwam uit de doos met mooie gladde frets, goede intonatie, bespeelbare hals(truss rod ietjse strakker gezet) en een goed geluid. Aan alles was gedacht. Elke Harley Benton (4 stuks) kwam tot nog toe als eier-snijder uit de doos. Echt. Wat een verademing. Nu nog een beetje ver'Gilmouren". .. creme pickup covers, knoppen, hals geel maken etc. Top gitaar!
