General

Even your first ever guitar can be a classic: wrap your paws around the Squier Sonic Telecaster and you're wrapping them around a thoughtfully designed model decked out with authentic Fender vibes. For a start, the solid poplar body is not only extra-thin but extra-lightweight, easing the strain on your shoulders and enhancing comfort when wearing a strap. And to finish, timeless amplified sound packed with bite, growl and just the right amount of twang is taken care of by a pair of passive single-coil pickups.

The Squier Sonic Telecaster: It's All in the Neck

Since the neck of any guitar can dictate the comfort and playability, Squier have given this Tele a maple neck with a C-profile and satin-gloss coated backside, which has an immediately snug and fast feel in your fret hand. This is teamed up with a narrow 42mm-wide nut, a traditional 9.5 inch fretboard radius and a full set of twenty-one narrow-tall frets to support controlled string grip while lowering the string-tension a touch, making it easier for learning guitarists to hold chords and spit licks.

A Solid Base

To guarantee a solid base when it comes to both tuning stability and resonance, the Squier Sonic Telecaster comes fitted with a Top-Load Tele bridge equipped with six adjustable block saddles that provide a smooth surface for your playing hand to rest on. This fixed top-loader bridge means that the strings don't run through to the back of the body, making swapping out the strings a much easier job.
